Jordi Amagat Molas

About Dr. Jordi Armagat

Dr. Jordi Amagat, UV Medico's Segment Manager in Life Science in Pharma, started in UV Medico as a biotechnologist and scientific researcher, specializing in biomaterials and medical devices integration. During his Ph.D. in Biological and Chemical Engineering from Aarhus University, Denmark, he explored biocompatible biomaterials with his thesis titled Functional Hydrogels for Stimulating Neural Regeneration.

At UV Medico, he is the Segment Manager focused on Life Science and Pharma, managing all UVM installations and projects in the pharmaceutical and cleanroom industry, developing new products, participating in medical trade fairs, and driving scientific communications and research. His passion for science since high school combined with a spirit of exploration has shaped his both personal and professional life into an exciting journey of continuous learning and discovery.

Jordi is a member of ISPE, PDA and A3P actively collaborating in the Nordics chapters, as well as the Project Management CoP (Community of Practice).

Jordi is driven by a passion for science, a collaborative spirit, and a love for global exploration, which drives many collaborations with different partners in the industry and research world
