About the awards
For many years now, the Amsterdam Innovation Award has been granted to the most innovative product, service or solution in the cleaning and hygiene industry. All exhibitors of Interclean Amsterdam can enter for a chance to win one of the prestigious awards. An international expert jury selects 12 nominees, 3 per category, who will be invited to pitch their innovation live in February 2026. From these, 4 category winners and one overall winner will be selected by the jury. Additionally there is a Visitors Choice Award and Cleaners Choice Award.
Winners will be announced live during Interclean Amsterdam on 14 April 2026.

Categories
The Amsterdam Innovation Award has four categories in which innovations van be entered. These categories focus on the impact on the industry the innovations have. Each innovation can be entered into a maximum of 2 categories.
Sustainability & Environment
While sustainability is now deeply embedded in the cleaning sector and all products must be developed with that in mind, the most innovative businesses continue to push boundaries and raise standards further.
Smart Technologies & Digitalisation
New ideas continue to emerge on how innovative technology and digitalisation can impact the work of cleaning operatives and facility managers. These developments are making solutions more practical, coste-effective, and productive.
