Dr. Baagi Thema Mmereki

Baagi Mmereki Dr. is Owner & CE of a Consulting company in Waste Management, Occupational Hygiene, and Environmental Monitoring in the Republic of Botswana - Africa. His interests in Waste Management focus on sustainable non-burn solutions to treat biomedcial waste on-site and where feasible bring in Circular Economy principles to reduce if not eliminate waste to the landfill. 

The business line on Environmental monitoring focuses on source emissions testing for compliance in the mining & healthcare sectors, and waste management industries. In the construction industry, TYS & T Enterprises does measurements and testing for ambient air quality, environmental noise, water testing, and ground and machines / tools vibrations. 

Dr. Mmereki holds a PhD in Environmental Chemistry from the University of Toronto (Canada), a Master of Science in Physcial Chemistry from Georgetown University (USA), and a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from the Technical Univesity of Nova Scotai (Canada).
