The Future of Cleaning by AI
Get ready for the thrilling conclusion of the AI Tournament Finale, where the brightest Dutch AI students go head‑to‑head to showcase how artificial intelligence can transform cleaning by the year 2030. After a full day of brainstorming, co‑creating, prototyping, and sparking ideas right in the heart of Hall 8, eight student teams will step onto the stage to pitch their most visionary concept.
Throughout the day, these teams have worked inside a buzzing creative hub, surrounded by curious visitors, industry professionals dropping in to share insights, and guidance from their dedicated sponsoring exhibitors. Each group was challenged to imagine the future of cleaning within one of the dynamic environments featured in the Experience Centers:
Hotel Room, Hotel Bathroom, Fitness/Gym, Leisure Play House, Dining Setting, Industrial Kitchen, Hospital Room, and Robot Area.

What to Expect

About Dirk Tuip
From elite sports to tech innovation, Dirk Tuip’s journey is one of resilience. After a career-ending injury as captain of the Netherlands' top handball team, Dirk spent five years in the cleaning industry before founding FacilityApps. Today, the platform serves over 600 companies and 40,000 daily users. With a recent expansion into the UK and the acquisition of VR-training pioneer Cleaning Workx, Dirk continues to lead the digital shift. He also serves as Chairman of H20 Esports Campus and Board Member of the Facility Data Standard.
