Interclean Amsterdam 2026 returns to RAI Amsterdam as the global meeting place for the cleaning and hygiene industry, with an expanded exhibition floor, even more exhibitors and an enhanced programme of live demonstrations and knowledge sessions.

The show takes place in April, during the Dutch tulip season. But while the city may be in bloom outside, inside the halls the focus is firmly on the technologies, partnerships, and ideas shaping the future of cleaning. Not registered yet? Don't miss out and register today.

What's new at Interclean Amsterdam 2026?

Four Experience Centres showcasing innovation in action

At the heart of Interclean 2026 are four Experience Centres designed to move beyond product display and into practical evaluation. These are spaces where visitors can test, compare, and assess solutions under realistic conditions.

  • Hospitality Experience in Hall 8: Located in the expanded Hall 8 and developed with The British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICSc), this area features life-sized hotel rooms and kitchens with half-hourly demos, showcasing the link between digitalisation, workforce development, and efficiency. It also includes AI cleaning demos for aircraft, trains, and specialist environments, plus Laundry & Textile Care and Pest Control solutions.
  • Healthcare Experience in Hall 12: Developed with Clean Hospitals and The British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICSc), this area features a life-sized hospital room and focuses on infection prevention, hygiene standards, and professional cleaning solutions for healthcare and long-term care environments.
  • Robot Experience in Hall 5: A dedicated zone for autonomous cleaning robots, featuring live demonstrations from leading manufacturers such as Sparkoz, ADLATUS Robotics GmbH, LionsBot International, Gausium Official, Shenzhen Yunjie Technology, Allybot, Cleanfix and ECOVACS ROBOTICS.
  • Outdoor Cleaning Experience outside entrance K: Live outdoor demonstrations ongoing throughout the day, including professional (window-)cleaning showcases by i-team Global | B Corp, Nilfisk and @Waterocx.

Knowledge sharing at the Main Stage

The Main Stage programme sets the tone for Interclean Amsterdam 2026, bringing together a strong line-up of sessions in cooperation with our partners; ISSA-The Association for Cleaning & Facility Solutions, Clean Hospitals, The British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICSc), European Cleaning Journal, Cinet, African Cleaning Review, Facility Data Standard (FDS), Italian National Association of Pest Control Companies, Afidamp - Associazione Fornitori Italiani del Professional Cleaning, Zero Waste Foundation and World Federation of Building Service Contractors - WFBSC.

Across four days, visitors can expect strategic keynote sessions, forward-looking panel discussions, and practical case studies addressing topics such as:

  • AI and robotics in daily operations
  • Sustainable innovation and regulatory developments
  • Workforce shortages and the future role of the cleaner

Three specialist stages

Across the halls, you’ll find three dedicated theatres, each centered around the future of cleaning: Data & Technology (Hall 5), Sustainability (Hall 7), and Health & Hygiene (Hall 12). These stages are where the industry comes to life, with exhibitors sharing their expertise through real-world insights, product presentations, and the latest innovations in their field. If you want to stay ahead of industry trends, these theatres are an essential stop during your visit.

A full-circle walking route

Interclean 2026 introduces a more intuitive and complete visitor journey. With the opening of Hall 8, the exhibition now follows a full-circle walking route, making it easier to navigate sectors, discover innovations, and move naturally between live demonstrations, experience areas, and networking spaces.

AI in action: The AI Tournament 2026

Artificial intelligence is not just displayed; it is actively developed on the show floor. The AI Tournament, hosted in Hall 8 in cooperation Facility Data Standard (FDS), brings eight Dutch student teams together to co-create future cleaning concepts across real-life environments such as hotel rooms, gyms, industrial kitchens, and hospital rooms.

On Wednesday 15 April, international AI students will work in teams to tackle real challenges from the cleaning industry. Thanks to structured preparation and guidance from industry experts, they arrive ready to build fast, creative prototypes. Visitors are invited to step into the arena, meet the teams, and witness firsthand how AI could shape the way we clean in 2030.

Feel Good Friday – programme completely in Dutch

A full-day Dutch-language programme celebrating the value of cleaning, ending with a big VriMiBo.

  • Keynote Paul Smit: Kick off Feel Good Friday with an energising keynote that puts value of cleaning centre stage. And TNO will provide research on the link between absence prevention and cleaning, outlining required measures and related costs.
  • The official Code Verantwoordelijk Marktgedrag signing moment.
  • Schoonmaker van het Jaar event: The Dutch Cleaner of the Year Award ceremony and election party.
  • VriMiBo: Wrap up the week with Friday afternoon drinks in Dutch style.

A full four days GBPA Conference - professional Textile Care: Smarter Services Pay-Off, in Room E102! Explore our Daily Laundry Tours (starting daily at 10:30 at Ruby Lounge).

Pest Control panel

In cooperation with Italian National Association of Pest Control Companies. Join this panel to hear best practices, explore the latest trends, solutions and insights in Pest Control. Pest Control is one of this year’s expanded focus areas in Hal 8. This panel will be on stage at the Main Stage in Hall 13 on Thursday 16 April.
