Since 2010 Interclean donated the sum of the contributions for the Amsterdam Innovation Award to Amref Flying Doctors. In the past eight years a total amount of €61.609 has been donated to diverse projects of Amref focusing on water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH). In Kajiado (Kenya) and Kilindi (Tanzania) Amref, supported by RAI Amsterdam, provided for better access to sustainable clean (drinking) water and less water, sanitation and hygiene related diseases. The donation made it possible to provide at least 6.160 people access to safe drinking water and education on hygiene.
