Interclean Amsterdam 2024 – the most amazing edition yet!

Amsterdam Innovation Award

One of the highlights of the show was the highly anticipated announcement of the prestigious Amsterdam Innovation Award – revealed at the opening of Interclean Amsterdam 2024. This year the overall winner of the prestigious Award was presented to Diversey - A Solenis Company for its LESSEAU® NO-Touch Bar Soap dispenser & refills. An exciting new addition to the line-up this year, the Cleaners’ Choice Award, was awarded to Baudoin Wash-Systems for its Baudoin Wash Drone. The Visitors’ Choice Award, granted by fellow professionals and industry partners, was won by Kärcher for its KIRA CV 50.

Healthcare Cleaning Forum

On Thursday 16 May, the third edition of The Healthcare Cleaning Forum was held. This unique 1-day conference was organised by Interclean in close cooperation with CleanHospitals®, focussing on the importance of environmental hygiene in the fight against infections in hospitals and other care institutions. Here healthcare experts, including infection prevention specialists and facility managers, cleaning experts and industry members joined to discuss new scientific insights, innovative technology and groundbreaking procedures. The programme, with breakout sessions and top keynote speakers Prof. Didier Pittet, Clare Nash, Prof. Martin Kiernan, Prof. Brett Mitchell, Edmée Bowles, and Dr Alexandra Peters, was a huge success.

Sensational social sessions

Interclean Amsterdam isn't just about business – it's about fostering connections, forging valuable partnerships, learning from industry experts and building a vibrant community. In addition to an extensive range of knowledge sessions, Interclean offered a vibrant networking programme including the daily Interclean Social Club with live entertainment and Feel Good Friday where referee Bjorn Kuipers and the biggest Friday afternoon drink ensured a superb finish. This proved to be the perfect way to unwind after a busy exhibition day, network with industry peers and enjoy amazing entertainment.

China Breakfast during Interclean Amsterdam

With Interclean Shanghai rapidly approaching, we invited our Amsterdam show attendees to take part in the China breakfast on May 15 to learn more about the opportunities the Chinese market has to offer and how they could join Interclean Shanghai to unlock the extraordinary potential of this hugely important market. Guided by expert Valérie Hoeks attendees of this highly informative session were introduced to the steps on doing business in China, including navigating the cultural nuances, tackling regulatory hurdles, and unveiling consumer preferences that hold the key to success.

Interclean Amsterdam 2024 also presented the ideal occasion to share how Interclean has evolved over the years, since its inception in 1967. The team were delighted to showcase their new brand identity at the show. In the coming months more will be revealed about this exciting new brand refresh.
