Dirk Tuip

 Dirk Tuip is Founder and CEO of FacilityApps, a software platform that helps cleaning companies connect and improve the full operational journey: from quote and contract through onboarding and training, planning, delivery, quality and proof, to invoicing and insight. His work centres on making technology useful where the work happens, in ways that support both managers and frontline teams. In recent years, FacilityApps has invested in VR Training for Cleaners. The training gives people a practical, visual way to learn cleaning tasks. By showing procedures in context rather than relying only on written instructions, it can help make onboarding and day-to-day learning more accessible when language is a barrier. Dirk also serves on the board of the Facility Data Standard, supporting more open and consistent data exchange across the facility services sector. He brings a practical perspective to innovation: technology, training and data standards should help cleaning organisations work with greater clarity, consistency and confidence.

Kelsey Hargreaves

In her role at BICSc, Kelsey helps to shape professional cleaning standards, training frameworks and workforce development initiatives across the industry. She brings hands-on operational experience from frontline NHS cleaning services during the COVID-19 pandemic, combined with expertise in training, quality assurance and project management. A passionate advocate for skills development, Kelsey works with cleaning organisations to improve competence, operational performance and professional recognition throughout the sector. She is also a Youth Ambassador for Youth Employment UK and is committed to attracting and developing the next generation of cleaning and facilities management professionals. As an international speaker, Kelsey shares insights on workforce development, cleaning standards, training innovation and building future-ready cleaning teams in an increasingly professionalised industry. 

Kesley Hargreaves

Helge Alt 

ISSA                                                                                      Helge Alt is an internationally recognized cleaning industry expert, educator, and speaker with more than 30 years of experience in advancing cleaning quality, professional standards, and workforce development. As Chairperson of Puhastusekspert OÜ, Estonia’s leading cleaning training and consulting company, she has helped shape the country’s cleaning sector qualification system. During the past 20 years, Helge has led the development and implementation of Estonia’s EQF-based certification framework for cleaning professionals, contributing to more than 5,000 professional certificates awarded at EQF Levels 3-5. Helge holds a Master's degree in Pedagogy from the University of Tartu, specializing in cleaning education, and was named Adult Educator of the Year 2022 by the Estonian Adult Educators Association. A member of the ISSA Sustainability Committee and a frequent international speaker, she promotes evidence-based, result-oriented cleaning practices that improve hygiene, sustainability, and workforce competence. Her vision is to achieve the desired level of cleanliness with minimum resources through smarter and more sustainable cleaning.

MTB Cleaning Services                                                     Nea Backström is Head of Marketing & Communications at MTB Cleaning Services, a Finnish family-owned cleaning company recognised internationally for its people-first culture and commitment to employee wellbeing. She works across employer branding, communications and organisational development, helping strengthen the connection between employee experience and service quality. MTB has been recognised as Finland's Best Workplace twice and has received several industry awards, including the European Cleaning & Hygiene Award for Commitment to Diversity and the Finnish Cleaning Association's Cleaning Company of the Year award. As a speaker and panel participant, Nea shares practical insights on how cleaning companies can combine productivity, service excellence and employee wellbeing to create sustainable business success and a stronger profession for the future.

Karin Perling is a Swedish healthcare cleaning specialist and facility management consultant with extensive experience in cleaning quality, healthcare hygiene and evidence-based cleaning. Her work focuses on helping organisations improve cleaning performance through measurement, data-driven feedback and results-based quality management. As a contributor to the Erasmus+ CleanMind project, Karin is involved in international research exploring how cleanliness measurement and performance feedback can improve cleaning outcomes in healthcare and other critical environments. Her expertise includes healthcare cleaning standards, cleanliness verification methods and the practical application of measurement-based quality improvement. As an international speaker, Karin shares insights on healthcare cleaning, cleaning performance measurement and how evidence-based approaches can help organisations achieve higher quality outcomes with existing resources

Chairman, Nanjing Haitang Cleaning Services Co., Ltd. President, Jiangsu Cleaning Services Industry Association                                                                          Sun Xiaojun is an experienced leader in commercial cleaning, building maintenance and environmental services. He is Chairman of Nanjing Haitang Cleaning Services Co., Ltd. and President of the Jiangsu Cleaning Services Industry Association. His company provides cleaning, exterior building cleaning, property management and pest control services across Jiangsu, Anhui and nearby areas. It supports shopping centers, offices, industrial sites, residential communities and public facilities. Major assignments have included Golden Eagle shopping centers, Wanda Plazas, ZTE facilities and the Nanjing Branch of China Zheshang Bank. Sun also supports industry standardization. His company helped draft T/JSCA 001-2022, a group standard for service providers that clean kitchen exhaust systems, and holds quality management and business credit certifications.

Vice President, Jiangsu Cleaning Services Industry Association                                            Xu Shirong has extensive experience in professional cleaning, hotel operations and property services. He is General Manager of Nanjing Yuetai Enterprise Management Co., Ltd. and Vice President of the Jiangsu Cleaning Services Industry Association. He also serves as Deputy Director of the Stone Application Technical Committee under the China Chamber of Commerce for Stone Industry. Founded in 2004, Nanjing Yuetai was one of the first companies in Nanjing to provide outsourced cleaning services to major hotels. It offers property management, guest-room cleaning, general cleaning and stone care for hotels, commercial properties and offices. The company has served about 80 clients, including around 45 hotels. Its clients have included Marriott, IHG, Hilton, Accor and Hyatt, as well as Suning and State Grid. Xu focuses on reliable cleaning systems that help hospitality and commercial clients improve service quality and operational efficiency.
