1. Can you introduce your company and product(s)?
Excel Dryer manufactures American-made, touchless hand dryers and accessories designed to create hygienic, sustainable commercial restrooms. The company pioneered the high-speed, energy-efficient hand dryer category, redefining public perception and setting a new standard for performance, reliability, and sustainability.
Our product line includes the XLERATOR® Hand Dryer, which dries hands in about 8 seconds; the XLERATORsync®, designed for integrated sink systems that combine washing and drying in one touchless fixture; the ultra-efficient XLERATOReco®, which uses no-heat technology; and the compact ThinAir®, ideal for tight spaces. Together, these solutions help facilities improve hygiene, reduce operating costs, and eliminate paper towel waste.
2. What will you be showcasing at Interclean Amsterdam this year?
At Interclean Amsterdam, we will showcase an integrated sink system featuring the XLERATORsync® hand dryer, demonstrating a fully touchless hand washing and drying experience at the sink. We will also display the ThinAir® hand dryer configured behind a mirror, a popular design in airports, along with our wall-mounted dryer lineup and a variety of customizable cover options.
3. What makes your product or solution unique compared to others in the market?
Our hand dryers combine high-speed performance with energy efficiency and proven hygiene. XLERATOR® dryers are known worldwide for their durability and fast drying times. All dryers can be ordered with electrostatic HEPA (eHEPA®) filtration, independently tested to remove 99.999% of viruses and 99.97% of bacteria from the airstream.
In addition, our products carry respected certifications such as Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), Health Product Declarations (HPDs), Green Globes recognition, and Made in the USA Certified®, supporting sustainability and transparency goals.
4. Who is your main target group (e.g. industries, countries, etc.) and who are you hoping to meet at Interclean Amsterdam?
Our solutions serve commercial facilities seeking to replace paper towels or outdated hand dryers with faster, more hygienic and sustainable technology. At Interclean Amsterdam, we are particularly interested in meeting distributors, restroom solution providers, architects, and facility decision-makers looking to improve restroom efficiency and sustainability.
5. How does your innovation create value for customers or end users?
Excel Dryer hand dryers typically deliver a return on investment within 9–12 months in facilities currently using paper towels. By eliminating the need to purchase, store, and refill paper products, organizations significantly reduce operational and labor costs.
Facilities also avoid maintenance issues such as overflowing waste bins, excessive restroom cleaning, and plumbing problems caused by paper towels being flushed. Environmentally, the benefits are substantial. An independent Life Cycle Assessment shows Excel Dryer solutions can reduce a restroom’s carbon footprint by up to 94% compared to even 100% recycled paper towels, helping organizations meet sustainability goals.
6. Can you share a success story or example of your product in action?
Excel Dryer products are used in high-traffic facilities worldwide, including Grand Central Terminal, Gillette Stadium, and Istanbul Grand Airport (iGA).
At iGA Airport in Türkiye, more than 76 million passengers pass through annually. To support a hygienic and efficient restroom experience, the airport installed 550 XLERATOR® hand dryers with electrostatic HEPA (eHEPA®) filtration. These dryers provide travelers with a fast, touchless hand-drying solution proven to remove 99.999% of viruses and 99.97% of bacteria from the airstream at 0.3 microns, helping the airport maintain high standards of hygiene and operational efficiency.
7. What motivated your team to participate in Interclean Amsterdam this year?
Interclean Amsterdam is a premier global event for the cleaning and hygiene industry, making it an ideal venue to connect with partners who can help expand our international distribution. Excel Dryer has seen strong success in North America, Latin America, and parts of Europe, and we are eager to grow further. We hope to meet national distributors, facility solution providers, and restroom product specialists interested in adding our high-performance hand dryers and accessories to their offerings.
8. How do you see your company evolving in the next few years?
Our focus is on expanding global distribution through strong partnerships while continuing to innovate in hygienic restroom technology. As we enter new markets, we will support growth of our existing product lines while introducing new solutions designed to improve hygiene, sustainability, and restroom efficiency in commercial facilities worldwide.
