Facility Inspiration Event displays the full flavour of Interclean Amsterdam
Reinforcing its reputation as the global platform for every sector of the professional cleaning industry, Interclean Amsterdam – which takes place from 15-18 May 2018 – has announced it will be hosting a Facility Inspiration Event at this year’s show.
The Facility Inspiration Event is a special daylong event organised by Interclean, in conjunction with leading consultancy company ATIR. The event is dedicated to inspiring facility managers to explore the opportunities available in implementing more efficient and environmentally-friendly cleaning solutions. The focus is on improving performance from insight on sustainability and in harnessing new technology.
The Facility Inspiration Event will be held on Thursday, 17 May from 10.00am - 4.00pm at the InnovationLAB in Hall 8. There is no requirement to pre-book and the event is open for anyone to join at any point of the day that is convenient. Proceedings consist of a seminar programme – which runs from 10.00am until 1.30pm – providing inspiration from technical experts and visionaries from around the world. Facility managers will hear insight that can be applied to their own businesses to promote innovation, productivity, and increase profitability.
Speakers provide three distinctive perspectives in a forum that is sure to involve and stimulate anyone in attendance. Those speaking are circularity guru Yvette Watson – who shares what the circular economy could mean for future working practices – and in particular the benefits of adopting greener solutions. Sander Duivestein –a technology specialist and trend watcher – discusses how technology is impacting on our personal lives, our ways of working and the wider world. While Herman Kok, professor at the University of Wageningen, will argue that value can be generated through the often underrated and underappreciated methods of proper cleaning.
With plenty to digest from the seminar schedule, advisors from co-hosts ATIR will be on hand in the afternoon at the AdviseLAB to answer questions and discuss any aspect of the event.
In common with Interclean’s primary role as a networking platform, the Facility Inspiration Event presents an excellent opportunity for anyone involved in the facility management sector to connect with new clients and catch up with existing contacts in their industry. The day’s events will provide facility managers with a range of opportunities to develop their global presence, further enhance professional relationships and become more efficient from an awareness of the newest developments in the market. To this end a special focus of the exhibition tour will be to view the management and mobility solutions in the InnovationLAB from the 12 nominees for this year’s Innovation award, presented to acknowledge outstanding achievements in the field of innovation.
Visitors will be able to round off their Facility Inspiration Event experience by visiting the rest of the exhibition, consisting of 13 exhibition halls which feature over 800 exhibitors from the world's leading cleaning and hygiene suppliers.
